We’re often asked by new members to our fitness suite; “When’s the best time to come in? When is it quiet?”. Understandably, many new gym-goers feel nervous about working out around others but we always assure them that we harbor a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the centre. Nevertheless, many of our customers would like a bit of space to do their exercise in and not have to que for the machines!
That’s why we’ve created this guide to help you chose when to use the fitness suite. We’ve analysed the numbers to show you when the gym is at it’s busiest and when it’s quieter. Obviously, this does change throughout the year so we’ll be keeping this page regularly updated so you can see that latest trends.
As you can see from this first graph, Mondays are by far our busiest day of week followed by Tuesdays. If you’re looking for a quieter weekday gym trip why not give Wednesdays a go instead? Or, if you really like having the gym to yourself, the weekends are your best bet.
We’ve also had a look at the time of night people generally tend to come in, as shown in the chart below. As you can see, you only have to delay your trip by an hour to avoid the rush. Coming in at 19:15 rather than 18:15 will often mean less waiting and more gyming!
These charts are based on the averages over the past couple of months and habits do change. Remember to check back regularly.
